Summary:
As a Module Advisor, you will offer expert guidance to enhance production efficiency by reducing tact-time and minimizing production losses in a mass production environment. You will utilize advanced ERP systems to control inventory, manage incoming materials, and optimize stock levels. Additionally, you will analyze current staffing levels and production demands to identify and implement opportunities for operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Document stabilization of the production line
Reduce production hidden losses related to operator behavior
Improve tact-time in current and future mass production programs
Enhance material logistics to control inbound components and minimize stock levels
Analyze staffing levels and identify opportunities for increased efficiency
Collaborate with production leadership to develop and monitor Module production KPIs
Create and implement cost-saving strategies
Check production progress management in accordance with the production plan
Feedback to Prod. Management Dept. when problems related to production progress occur
Yield management (Improving productivity and improving production loss)
OEE management (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) : Efficiency management for material replacement, production preparation, and PD
Perform internal and customer audits
Perform company document preparation related to process/procedures: SOP, PFD CP
Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related degree required, MBA or MS preferred, or equivalent, relevant experience
Experience:
7+ years of experience in continuous improvement or manufacturing in a highly automated and/or automotive engineering environment
Experience with large production lines, PFMEAs, and process controls
Experience with Time Studies, Line Balancing, Lean Manufacturing, Bottleneck Analysis
