Stanley Black and Decker CAD/CAE Operator/Programmer in Holliston, Massachusetts

Job Description

  • Creates layout, detail and assembly drawings from sketches, models verbal and written instructions per company and ISO standards.

  • Creates technical documentation as required for internal and external customers.

  • Maintains documents and logs according to procedure specifications.

  • Modifies existing drawings and technical documents as required.

  • Maintains time and daily work records.

  • Gathers and processes information required to address Custom Application Requests and Engineering Change Requests (ECR’s).

  • Utilizes knowledge of Lista products and manufacturing processes to assist Engineers in developing concepts for new or redesigned products.

  • Provides support to the manufacturing departments as required.

  • Provides the internal and external customers with necessary requested information.

  • Interfaces between engineering and other departments to resolve issues regarding product documentation.

  • Performs responsibilities to meet requirements of internal and external customers.

  • Works well independently and in a team environment, evaluates progress and results.

Requirements

  • Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent preferred.

  • 6-8 years of related experience including 1-2 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication.

  • Knowledge of computers, 3D CAD, Mechanical Desktop and SolidWorks preferred.

  • Proven track record of accuracy, meeting deadlines, and high energy in completing activities.

  • Must work well with others in a team environment.
