Job Title: Lifeguards Department: Parks and Recreation Department Reports to: Director of Park and Recreation, Asst Director of Parks & Recreation, Aquatics Director (on site) Job Summary: ? Recognize emergencies and respond to them effectively. ? Enforce all aquatic rules, policies, and regulations to ALL patrons. ? Assist with pool coverage during swim lessons and aqua aerobics ? Inspect the facility before opening and closing to report any unsafe conditions or equipment to the supervisor. ? Complete all paperwork during shifts. ? Participate in regular in-service training sessions. ? Assist in cleanliness of pool, deck and pool areas. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Requirements: ? Must be certified lifeguard with CPR & AED certification Job Environment: Works in a public pool, busy outdoor setting.
