ATS Manufacturing Sewer in HOLYOKE, Massachusetts
Job Title: Sewer Location: Holyoke Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time Salary: \$16 - \$17 SUMMARY Perform industrial sewing tasks related to industrial filter cloth manufacturing. Perform general labor tasks within department as required. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Required to perform all tasks pertaining to all facets of set-up and operation of industrial sewing machines, including the following: ? Sew material using Industrial Sewing Machines. ? Sew to production sample, follow product guides, and observe stitching to detect defects. ? Inspect finished product for quality control. ? Make minor machine adjustment. ? Perform routine machine maintenance. 2. Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations and maintain departmental housekeeping standards Knowledge and Skill Requirements 1. Basic Reading, Writing and Arithmetic Skill 2. Prior Sewing Experience 3. Ability to lift 25 pounds Bi-lingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
