GAI Consultants is looking for a technically diversified Senior Environmental Manager to support our Power Generation Environmental Engineering Group working hybrid at our Homestead PA office. This candidate will be able to perform project planning, design, and permitting, services for water resources and water and wastewater projects. General Characteristics

Well-rounded with aspects of consulting, industry standards and Company protocols, participation in professional societies and industry associations is preferred.

Bachelor's degree in environmental sciences or similar field of study

Technical Responsibilities

Oversight and coordination of project tasks. Available to junior staff for guidance. Provides opportunities to junior staff for becoming familiar with task management and financials.

Project and Task Management.

Starts to serve as a Project Manager on midsize to large projects.

Management, Supervision, and Guidance

Serves as the leader of the environmental scope of the project. Receives administrative support and direction from Business Sector Leaders and higher-level officials of the Company. Continues to manage staff with diverse skills and has a focus on supporting career path and technical growth.

Communication, Teamwork, and Leadership

Routinely interacts with clients, customers, government officials, contractors, and others. Leads project meetings and presentations; possess marketing and sales skills. Represents Company in a positive light. Interacts with Task Managers and Business Sector Leaders on a regular basis. Attends meetings with higher-level officials of the Company on project status including financials.

Qualifications

Education Bachelors of Environmental and Earth Science (required)

Experience 16 years: Oversight and coordination of project tasks. Available to junior staff for guidance. (preferred) 16 years: Well-rounded with aspects of consulting, industry standards and Company protocols, participation in professional societies and industry associations is preferred. (required)
