DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES

The intern, Consumer Operations, Planning & Services, Deployment & Field Support, Asia Pacific will work closely with the Consumer Operations Planning & Services Deployment & Reservation Operations team. The position supports the team in various deployment & field support projects.

Key responsibilities include:

Project and Strategy Execution

  • Supports cross-functional teams comprised of discipline experts from HR, Finance, other Consumer Operations Planning & Services departments, and Asia Pacific S&M Leadership to:

  • Support implementation of Asia Pacific S&M initiatives with minimal oversight, working with regional S&M leaders and Director, Consumer Operations Deployment Services to meet project objectives and goals on time and on budget

  • Provide analytical support for large, complex, cross-function transformational projects

  • Actively engage internal partners (e.g., change management, communications, HR, Owner Franchise Services) to prepare content for materials as needed for deployment of BMSC initiatives.

Strategy Execution

  • Supports initiatives in partnership with the Asia Pacific S&M Leadership team to drive change across the S&M organization.

  • Accountable to results of the project

  • Provide content guidance to the project

  • Participate in review cycles at key milestones & provide go/no-go decision

  • Actively participate in strategy sessions

  • Contribute to strategy development

  • Develop and drive implementation plan

  • Ensure appropriate sponsorship and resourcing

  • Establish key milestones and approval roles

  • Ensure timely delivery against milestones

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

We are looking for university student who is passionate, committed, and keen to establish a career in the Development discipline with the following attributes:

  • Ability to learn quickly and excel in a fast-paced environment

  • Detailed-oriented, structured, and organized

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and follow-up skills

  • Excellent command of spoken and written English

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint)

  • Excellent Analytical and Numeracy Skills

QUALIFICATION STANDARD

Education:

Undergraduate in Business Management, Marketing, or Hospitality major preferred

Requirements

Singaporean, Singapore Permanent Resident Holder or valid student pass / work holiday pass

Eligible for undergraduate in a Singapore registered university program / uundergraduate or graduate of a university in Singapore, Australia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland, United Kingdom or United States.

Prepared to commit to a six months’ internship
