The Opportunity

As part of the broader Global Hotel Operational Services teams, you will be collaborating closely with regional, area and on-property hotel leadership as well as Hyatt’s owners, operators, and internal stakeholders where you will be instrumental in continuing to make Hyatt a leading hospitality company.

Requirements:

• Maintain and execute business processes for property system activations: obtain all required data beforehand, define and validate successful testing, manage cutover activities and signoffs.

• Maintain all related documentation, checklists, and process maps for each activation under the Specialist’s purview.

• Lead Corporate and hotel management teams through each activation as needed

• Foster business relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and vendors to ensure customers are having their needs met.

• Use various data sources, operational experiences, and empathy interviews to arrange data visualizations that tell a story; illustrate successes and highlight opportunities for improvement.

• Use empirical data and Continuous Improvement methodologies to advocate for technology adoption, simplification of hotel business practices, and elimination of wasteful processes.

• Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt core values.

Qualifications:

Experience

· Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in at least two operational areas at a Hyatt Hotel: Guest Reception, Housekeeping, Guest Services, Reservations, Revenue, Food & Beverage or Sales & Events.

· Must be comfortable with public speaking, facilitating training, and representing the Corporate Office any time when engaging with hotels.

· Familiar with hotel application usage and business impact. Experience with Opera Property Management System (PMS), Central Reservations System (CRS), Point of Sales (POS), Sales & Events and/or Guest Service Systems.

· Must be a fierce of advocate for standardization, business practices, and process improvement.

· Ability to effectively communicate with Hyatt colleagues at varying levels and experience.

· Ability to thrive in an ever-changing, demanding, fast-moving and customer-focused environment.

· Must be an independent worker, focused on accomplishing tasks with little to moderate oversight.

Education

• Associates Degree (at least 2 years of college) or commensurate experience

• Fluent in languages other than English is desired

Computer Skills Needed to Perform this Job

• Strong Competency with Microsoft applications: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, OneNote

• Experience with Smartsheet, and/or other project management tools

• Experience with Tableau, ThoughtSpot, and/or other data visualization tools

• Experience with Visio or other process mapping tools
