Grow, protect and promote the reputation of the business by partnering with global, regional and local team members to effectively handle issues in HK; build employee engagement communications for J&J Innovative Medicine HK

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of communication strategies and messaging

  • Implement employee communications projects for J&J Innovative Medicine HK, in partnership with global, regional and local Enterprise and/or sector partners

  • Draft messages that engage, inform and align internal partners

  • Understand the company's brand position and offer professional counsel to internal teams, ensuring local marketing collaterals are on-brand

  • Manage administrative processes and coordinate with internal partners to ensure global, regional and local communication policies and guidelines are fulfilled

  • Collaborate with agencies and monitor working timelines for each program as assigned

  • Support other public affairs programs as assigned by the manager

  • Apply metrics to regularly assess and demonstrate the positive impact of communication

Qualifications

Essential knowledge and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in communication, language, marketing or science

  • 1 - 2 years of work experience, preferably in employee engagement and/or corporate communications experience, gained in-house or within an agency

  • Keen interest to work with cross-functional teams in a diverse business environment

  • Demonstrable strong interest to learn and grow expertise in communication and public affairs

  • Good English written and verbal communication skills; preferably good Chinese written and verbal communication skills

  • Attention to detail and positive attitude in managing complex tasks
