Lockheed Martin Production Operations Manager in Hooks, Texas

Description: Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control is seeking a Production Operations Managers for the M270 Fleet Upgrade program within the Tactical Missiles Line of Business. In this role, the Prod-Ops Manager will serve as the Prod-Ops Sr Manager's deputy on site at Red River Army Depot (RRAD) and will manage all aspects related Red River Army Depot (RRAD) including but not limited to: Oversee LM Onsite team to ensure RRAD is provided timely support – build working relationship / partnership with RRAD leadership so they will be open to change that allows increased & consistent deliveries. Coordinate all RRAD on-site scope and work with cross-functional team to develop metrics. Ensure data is accurate and thorough, analysis will result in process improvement idea to present to RRAD. Walk the floor – validate what RRAD is reporting. Work with ME on RRAD manufacturing flow documentation. Partner with GSC to report on RRAD status to M270 Leadership. Brief RRAD status at Carrier Working Group and Production Meetings and coordinate work from warranty / COSIS activities.

Basic Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree

-Knowledge of Heavy Vehicle Manufacturing and/or Maintenance

-Professional work experience in Production Manufacturing, Global Supply Chain Management or Quality

-Experience with customer interaction

-Experience with Supplier interface

-Ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve program goals

-Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc)

-Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Desired Skills:

-Experience, working knowledge of M993 and or M270 Launcher

-Lockheed Martin experience with focus on production operations

-Experience with production scheduling

-Successfully implemented cost, schedule, quality, and/or safety cost improvements

-Experience in negotiations

-Working knowledge of LEAN - Six Sigma skills

-Understanding and wide application of complex Electro-mechanical/Optical Final Assembly, Integration and -Test methods

-Familiarity with SAP

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
