In this role, you will be responsible to:

  • Oversee and manage a team of Learning Business Partners and Program Managers for J&J IM Transformational Capabilities and PECS.

  • Establish and drive end to end strategy and learning business partnership to understand needs and priorities for J&J IM Transformational Capabilities, including Janssen Experience Transformation, STaT Development and Onboarding, J&J IM Learning Excellence Development and Onboarding, PECS Learning & Development and other core development enabling areas (e.g., BRAVE, Change Management, Executive Presence).

  • Lead the strategic direction and implementation of J&J IM Transformational Capabilities & PECS

  • Act as a liaison between the J&J IM Learning Excellence team and TA SL&D LBPs to ensure learning is aligned to business needs respective to J&J IM Transformational Capabilities & PECS

  • Effectively establish, deepen, and sustain key relationships with stakeholders

  • Proactively identify learning solution opportunities to help meet business needs and close performance gaps for J&J M Transformational Capabilities & PECS

  • Oversee a team of Learning Business Partners (LBPs) and Program Managers (PMs) within J&J IM Transformational Capabilities & PECS

  • Advise and support LBPs and PMs in their responsibilities, act as a point of escalation, remove barriers, etc.

  • Consult on business needs to identify learning solutions and/or coordinate appropriately with Learning Experience, Managers and Program Managers to define desired performance outcomes and provide recommendations for learning solutions

  • Engage in demand, capability, and capacity planning with Strategic Planning & Operations Lead to inform budget needs

  • Manage ongoing program needs and suggest program improvements to further enhance learning program effectiveness and sustainability within J&J IM Transformational Capabilities & PECS

  • Review content programs being developed, as needed, to provide subject matter expertise and ensure alignment to business needs

  • Spearhead community of practice for J&J IM Learning Excellence & SL&D professionals, and oversee training and development for L&D professionals

Qualifications

Qualifications

Required Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree; Masters in Learning Preferred

Required:

  • 10 years industry experience, with a minimum of 5 years in people management required

  • Previous experience leading Learning Organizations required

  • Strong understanding of learning and development required

Preferred:

  • Diversity in prior commercial roles preferred (sales, sales leadership, acct mgt, marketing, etc.)

  • Experience leading learning transformations preferred

  • Experience leading in a matrixed environment preferred

The base pay range for this position is $142,000 to $244,950. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs such as health insurance, savings plan, pension plan, disability plan, vacation pay, sick time, holiday pay, and work, personal and family time off in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
