Growing industrial manufacturing company is looking for a Senior Buyer/Planner to add to the team! Targeting candidates with a blended background in both purchasing and planning, strong negotiations skills, process improvement focused, excellent communication and people skills with a passion for internal and external customer service.

Summary: Buyer Planner III is accountable for the production planning and procurement of supplies, raw materials, and services for the designated product line. This role entails managing supplier performance and spearheading cost reduction initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure commitment of delivery dates for each customer order received and processed.

• Interface with customer service regularly to ensure orders meet customer delivery expectations.

• Procure supplies, materials, and equipment essential for organizational operations.

• Evaluate requisitions, engage with vendors, and scrutinize bids and contracts.

• Expedite items/supplies as needed to meet company demands.

• APICS CPIM or CSCP Certification is a plus.

  Knowledge and Skills:

• Proficient in Word, Excel, and database applications.

• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage shifting priorities and tight deadlines.

• Demonstrated negotiation skills and the ability to foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Position is onsite M-Th, remote/flex Fridays
