Description

We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Technician to join our IT department. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our staff with computer systems, hardware, and software. With your five years of experience in the field, we’ll rely on you to solve high-level problems that lower-tier technicians are unable to resolve. • Provide excellent customer service while responding to IT tickets, prioritizing and troubleshooting potential issues.

• Install, configure, and manage software and hardware systems.

• Assist employees and executives with computer-related issues.

• Diagnose software and hardware malfunctions, perform necessary repairs, and maintain documentation.

• Train and guide staff on hardware and software utilization.

• Regularly evaluate our IT systems to ensure they meet necessary demands.

• Escalate IT issues to the IT Manager when necessary.

• Assist with onboarding and offboarding, setting up and recovering hardware as needed.

  Requirements

• Proven experience as a Desktop Support Technician or similar role for at least five years.

• Experience with diverse computer systems and networks.

• Strong knowledge of software, hardware, and network troubleshooting.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Relevant Certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco or equivalent.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT or similar.
