NEW AGE SATELLITES & SECURITY Fire Alarm Technician in Houston, Texas
[Under limited supervision, helps install, maintain, repair, and inspect all Fire Sprinkler, Fire Alarm and Burglar alarm safety equipment for New Age Security clients. This may include after proper training or supervision of extinguishers, surveillance and sprinkler systems. Maintains and provides for the safe condition and operation of all safety systems and other duties as assigned for the efficient operation of New Age Security Inc. - Install, maintain, or repair fire sprinkler, fire alarm, burglar security systems, alarm devices, or fire related equipment, following blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans.
- Inspect installation sites and study work orders, building plans, and installation manuals to determine materials requirements and installation procedures.
- Examine systems to locate problems, such as loose connections or broken insulation.
- Demonstrate systems for customers and explain details, such as the causes and consequences of false alarms.
- Report to office each morning for meeting and daily planning
- Utilize company vehicle for work travel
- Other duties as required

Excellent communications skills (both Some work experience a plus; willing to written and verbal) train
Ability to travel Possession of recognized industry
Ability to secure Security Alarm License certifications
Proven reliable, dependable and punctual
Must have own transportation in case of an emergency
Must be able to lift 30-50 pounds ability to conform to physical needs of field work
Proven ability to honest and exhibit a positive attitude; team player
