Robert Half FP&A Analyst in Houston, Texas

Description A midstream company located in Grenway plaza is looking for an FP& A Analyst. The FP& A analyst will be part of the FP& A team and will analyze financial statements and reports, prepare projections/estimates, assist with the budgeting process, and perform research and analysis.

Job Requirements

 Analyze/manipulate key operational and accounting data in order to develop operational reports for publication to various stakeholders, including variance analysis reports, abbreviated profit/loss statements, monthly performance presentations, KPI reports, etc.

 Assist in analyzing financial performance.

 Participate in long-term/budget planning on a monthly and quarterly basis.

 Assist in preparation of leadership and board presentations.

 Acquire deep knowledge and understanding of the company’s business performance and display confidence in reporting to leadership.

 Assist with corporate-level ad hoc projects and ensure completion in a timely manner.

Ideal Candidate will have:

 Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, supply chain or related field.

 3+ years of experience in accounting, finance, supply chain or related corporate setting.

 Strong understanding of key financial concepts: P& L analysis, KPI reporting, financial statements etc.

 Strong financial modeling/forecasting and analytical capabilities.

 Advanced Excel modeling skills

 Experience with Tableau, PowerBI or similar is a plus

Compensation is up to 100K.

• Familiarity with financial software and databases is expected

• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is required

• Previous experience in a financial analyst role is preferred.
