The Mission Systems Operations Contract (MSOC) provides the human spaceflight program engineering and operations services for the Johnson Space Center (JSC) Mission Control Center (MCC), Training Systems (TS) and the Space Vehicle Mockup Facility (SVMF). The MCC provides command and control capability to the International Space Station (ISS) and other spacecraft. This complex system includes all the hardware and software that is required for flight controllers to command and control the spacecraft 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The Training Systems provide full task and part task training to astronauts, flight controllers and operations personnel. The MSOC team provides high fidelity training simulators that use flight software and complex models with malfunction capability to fully simulate the ISS. Our SVMF provides precise volumetric training systems so that astronauts are able to understand the precise location and volume of the spacecraft in which they will operate. These three unique facilities are the backbone of Flight Operations at JSC enabling Plan, Train, and Fly.

The MSOC team will be hiring into the following Disciplines:

• Electrical Engineers (Mid Level)

• Mechanical Engineers (Mid Level)

• Systems Engineers (Entry, Mid, and Sr. Level)

• IT Security Analysts (Mid and Sr. Level)

• Project Engineers (Mid Level)

• Project Managers (Mid Level)

• Project Managers – Engineering (Sr. Level)

• Telecommunications (Sr. Level)

• Software Engineers (Mid and Sr. Level)

Successful candidates must be able to apply for and successfully receive and maintain security clearance per eligibility requirements.
