Robert Half Office Assistant in Houston, Texas

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Office Assistant in Houston, Texas. The chosen candidate will be a key part of our team, providing professional and detailed-oriented assistance to both our Human Resources and Management departments. With a strong emphasis on customer service, this position will involve a range of clerical duties and office functions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to both Human Resources and Management

• Handle customer complaints with a compassionate and professional approach

• Provide accurate information to both internal and external customers

• Utilize Microsoft Office Suites, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word, to complete tasks and manage information

• Perform office functions and clerical duties as required

• Manage correspondence effectively and efficiently

• Execute billing functions with precision and accuracy

• Use the 'About Time' software effectively for various tasks

• Maintain a professional, friendly, and positive energy in all interactions

• Display detailed-oriented and organized work practices. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word is essential.

• Must have a strong understanding of office functions.

• Familiarity with 'About Time' software is a plus.

• Experience in handling billing functions is required.

• Ability to perform clerical duties effectively.

• Must have a strong ability to manage correspondence.

• Excellent customer service skills are necessary.

• Previous experience as an Office Assistant or similar role is desirable.

• Must be able to multitask and prioritize work effectively.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• High level of organization and detail-orientation.

• Basic knowledge of office equipment such as printers, scanners, and fax machines.

• Should be able to maintain confidentiality and handle office matters with utmost professionalism.

• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative.
