Robert Half Project Engineer in Houston, Texas

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Technical Engineer in the service industry, located in Houston, Texas. This role will require you to be closely involved with key business stakeholders, understanding their needs and deploying new innovations. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing test facilities, providing technical expertise, and improving technical landscapes.

Responsibilities:

• Engage in close cooperation with key business stakeholders.

• Understand and cater to the needs of the Business.

• Implement new innovations in line with business requirements.

• Manage test facilities and deploy technical expertise as per the business needs.

• Provide direction and planning for the implementation of strategic technical design.

• Suggest improvements to deployed systems based on lessons learned from previous deployments.

• Test and evaluate existing solutions to ensure the feasibility of new technology implementations.

• Conduct training for field personnel in the use and maintenance of installed systems.

• Make regular site visits to assess compliance with organizational goals and to identify further needs.

• Document the implementation process, from planning to execution.

• Provide appropriate training to team members and coach stakeholder personnel.

• Collaborate with architects and team members on project goals.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Cisco Hardware

• Expertise in Hardware Troubleshooting

• Proficiency in Network Troubleshooting

• Basic Troubleshooting skills Requirements • Proficiency in Cisco Hardware

• Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues effectively

• Experience with network troubleshooting

• Basic troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose technical issues

• Strong understanding of service industry's technical needs and requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proactive problem-solving capabilities

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

• Ability to work both individually and as part of a team

• Willingness to stay updated with the latest technological developments and trends
