We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Houston, Texas, United States. The workplace fosters a smaller collaborative environment where the Sr. Accountant will be integral in ensuring accurate and efficient processing of financial data. Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process and update bank data on a daily basis.

• Maintain the firm's financials with guidance from the firm's CPA.

• Accurately reconcile accounts and prepare journal entries.

• Develop an annual financial budget and generate monthly comparison reports.

• In the context of Construction Service Projects, establish a financial plan based on agreements with clients.

• Handle invoicing, accounts receivable/accounts payable, and creation of purchase orders as required.

• Ensure all bills, both project and non-project related, are paid.

• Regularly update and reconcile credit card data, tracking reimbursables by items.

• Utilize skills in NetSuite, Month End Close, and Financial Reporting to enhance processes and outcomes.

Requirements • Candidate must possess at least 5 years of experience in the field of accounting.

• Proficiency in using NetSuite accounting software is essential for this role.

• Experience in conducting Month End Close operations is required.

• Candidate must have skills in Financial Reporting.

• Advanced degree in Accounting or related field is desirable.

• The candidate should have excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Strong organizational skills are required to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• The candidate must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• CPA certification is considered a significant advantage.
