Logitech Quality Engineer in Hsinchu, Taiwan

The Role:

As Quality Engineer/Failure Analysis Expert for the HID business unit of Logitech you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic R&D Center, collaborating with expert teams to create great products in gaming & productivity related categories. Passion for design and development is the key, this includes creating and testing solutions to meet design goals

  • Data mining for product performance from field in terms of field returns & top defects

  • Initial failure analysis & in turn reproducibility for the products returned from field

  • Coordinate with Quality Program Managers to help drive root cause analysis with stakeholders including ME,EE, CMF etc. to name a few

  • Failure Analysis followup & reporting with suppliers no matter component or product level

  • Coordination with Quality Engineers for sample shipment

  • Participate in weekly/ bi weekly meetings as per need

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

  • Several years job experience in a Consumer Electronics domain with background in failure analysis & or Quality and Reliability /Project experience

  • Strong quality mindset

  • Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin)

  • Self motivated & prefer to work with international team members

  • Finally a team player

In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:

  • Knowhow of Quality Tools ( 8D, DFMEA, Six Sigma ) is a plus

  • Ability to understand FEA, Simulation is a plus as well

Education: University degree (Bsc ) in Electronic Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar
