We are on the lookout for a diligent Plant Controller to be a part of our team in Hudson, NY. The primary role includes overseeing the financial aspects of our operations, maintaining internal controls and procedures, and interacting with the ERP system. The responsibility of this role also extends to regular financial reporting, cost accounting, financial analysis, and managing special projects.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the financial operations of the organization

• Implement and maintain internal controls and procedures

• Work closely with the ERP system for efficient business operations

• Prepare and present financial reports to the parent company regularly

• Conduct cost accounting and financial analysis to aid in business decisions

• Handle special projects as assigned, ensuring they align with the company's financial goals

• Resolve any financial issues and inquiries promptly and professionally

This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a degree in accounting/finance and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience at the Senior Accountant level or higher. Relocation assistance may be available for candidates with ties to the area.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in the role of Plant Controller or a similar role within the manufacturing industry

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field

• Proven experience with business planning and analysis

• Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

• Ability to develop and maintain financial models for forecasting
