Confidential End of the Line Operator in Hudson, Ohio

OhioMeansJobs Summit County and a local rubber manufacturer are partnering to find an End of the Line Operator We specialize in mixing clean and consistent color rubber{rel="nofollow"} and black rubber{rel="nofollow"} compounds, developing polymer formulas{rel="nofollow"}, and providing lab testing{rel="nofollow"} for companies throughout the rubber industry. Our industry leading chemists and technical team have the knowledge to help improve the quality and performance of your rubber product. Therefore, we can reduce scrap rates, and lower cost while maintaining predictable and consistent physical properties. Duties:

  • Operator understands the com1 Reviews thoroughly and understands all packaging and dimension requirements written for each customer specification.
  • Product packaging container ID'd before product is placed inside/on.
  • Retain samples taken and ID'd for each batch.
  • Packaging temperatures are taken and recorded on each production number (per spec)
  • Review product for dimension and cleanliness. If dimensions are incorrect inform the supervisor and mill operator immediately to correct issue. Document on packaging spec the changes made. Specific measurement dimensions must be documented on packaging specs.
  • Thermometer is calibrated
  • Initial spec after run or after shift (if it is a multiple shift run) showing what batches you ran.
  • All finished goods will be brought to the finished goods staging area with the compound name, mix date, weight, production number, and batch numbers written on the box neatly.
  • Percent solids tests taken once per shift making sure the solids percentage is within spec. If % solids are found to be out of spec, adjustments MUST be made and a retest after adjustments MUST be completed to confirm adjustments. Repeat, if necessary, until % solids are within spec.
  • Operator understands the complete use of the Wig Wag Machine which includes ALL safety switches, safety curtains, and all operational functions.

Qualifications: No Experience needed: Training will be provided Salary: $17-$18/hr. based on experience 401k, Dental, Health Insurance, Paid Holidays, Vacation
