We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Content Packout Technician Assistant. In this role, you will be assisting our Content Packout Technicians in handling and managing the contents of properties affected by various disasters such as water damage, storm damage and fire. This is a critical position that supports our restoration efforts and ensures efficient packout and inventory management.

Responsibilities:

  • The Contents Restoration Technician performs contents cleaning techniques, operates several types of cleaning equipment, and performs pack-out services to restore sites to their prior condition before sustaining smoke, fire, soot, or water damage.
  • Assist in packing, inventorying, and organizing contents from residential and commercial properties.
  • Work closely with Content Packout Technicians to ensure accurate documentation of items removed from job sites.
  • Help transport contents to designated cleaning and storage facilities.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, ensuring all materials and tools are properly stored and secured.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others.
  • Assist in the cleaning and restoration of contents as directed by senior technicians.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and completion of tasks.
  • Effectively communicate and respond to customers in a timely, professional manner.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Very good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Friendly and outgoing, have a "can-do" attitude.
  • Punctual and reliable.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid driver license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in various environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Reliable and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions from senior technicians.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in restoration or related field.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Basic understanding of cleaning and restoration techniques.
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required; training will be provided.
