Job Title: Aerospace Assembly Technician

Job Description

Responsibilities include precision assembly of rocket engine components such as combustion devices, valves, turbomachinery, and avionics. Tasks involve root cause diagnostics, component disassembly, repair work, nitrogen and helium leak testing, and environmental preparation. You will also support design and integration of custom manufacturing and test equipment, maintain tooling and equipment inventory, and ensure adherence to strict cleanliness standards. Additionally, you will assist in developing new manufacturing methods to enhance quality, reduce costs, and optimize build schedules.

Hard Skills

  • Ability to read GD&T

  • Experience in precision assembly of rocket engine components: combustion devices, valves, turbomachinery, avionics, test

  • Proficiency in receiving inspection, fabrication, assembly, test, integration, and refurbishment processes

  • Experience in Aerospace, Aviation, or Automotive industries

Soft Skills

  • Ability to identify and develop new manufacturing methods

  • Capability to support and deploy corrective actions for non-conformances and escapes

  • Skill in maintaining strict cleanliness and safety standards

Work Environment

The role is based in a new, state-of-the-art Rocket Engine manufacturing facility which is very clean and climate-controlled. The facility features new machinery and a clean room.
