Become a part of something IMPACT-ful! Ground Missile Defense (GMD) is the heart of the Missile Defense System and a key element of our nation’s defense against ballistic missile attacks. The GMD Weapon System (GWS) processes data from multiple sensors to identify and characterize the inbound ballistic missile threat, plans the best defensive solution, and launches the intercepting missiles to negate the threat.

The Work

In this position, you will review, write, execute manual test cases on system HW in a lab environment.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors of Science in a related STEM degree and minimum 5 years related experience, or a Masters of Science degree in a related STEM field with minimum 3 years related experience

• Security Plus Certification

• Recent experience developing Test Reports

• Recent experience developing software test cases

• Demonstrate efficiency in assigned tasks to serve as a SME in a formal test environment

• Exposure to Agile Scrum/Kanban development environments

• Experience with Atlassian JIRA, and Atlassian Confluence tools or similar tools

• AMD (air-missile defense) experience

• Availability to travel in support of Ground/Flight tests,

• Must be able to support an in-office / closed-area work environment full time

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Desired Skills:

• GMD experience

• Experience performing Software integration or System-level testing

• Exposure to UML2 artifacts

• Experience using IBM Rational DOORS

• Flexibility to support a 2nd shift schedule in extreme circumstances.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
