Description

Wheeler Machinery Co. is seeking a dedicated Hose Product Specialist for our Hurricane, UT location. This full-time, benefited position requires prioritizing safety in all tasks while utilizing TRACK/Tyfoom. Responsibilities include building and inspecting hoses to ensure they meet quality requirements and manufacturer specifications, recording all inspection and test information, and maintaining organized records.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assemble hose orders using customer prints, verbal instructions or pick ticket information, including walk in hose orders.

  • Travel to customer sites to build and install hoses.

  • Maintain a running inventory of hose and fittings.

  • Adjust work assignment priorities when needed and as directed.

  • Responsible for organization of tools and workstation cleanliness.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Adhere to all safety rules, regulations, and practices.

  • Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition. Detect and report equipment malfunctions, unusual situations, or other problems to the supervisor or lead.

  • Constantly demonstrate safe working habits and follows all safety requirements.

  • Monitor hose shop production schedule and ensure delivery and production requirements are met.

  • Assemble hose orders based on customer prints, verbal instructions or pick ticket information, including walk in hose orders.

  • Possess good communication skills.

  • Proactively able to step in to support other team members as needed and share knowledge to allow cross training of all functions.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high volume production environment.

  • Participate in mobile hose van assignments daily.

  • Must be team-oriented individual who understands and supports the team approach.

  • Maintain a clean driving record for Mobile Hose Van assignments.
