Summary of the Administrative Assistant: This position includes providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. Supports managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material. Ability to effectively communicate via phone and email ensuring that all Administrative Assistant duties are completed and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner. Rely on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Act as the first point of contact for the organization Greet and assist visitors to the office Answer phones and assist callers Receive and send packages via couriers Sort and distribute all incoming mail and faxes Order office supplies Maintain company directories and rosters Provide office administrative support: typing, filing, mailing, scanning, photocopying Provide Human Resources support: maintain spreadsheets, schedule pre-hire screenings and advancement tests Assist with planning and overseeing company events Other duties as assigned by manager
