General Summary:

Overview:

The Modem RF Software Team at Qualcomm India:

• Develops drivers for the leading RF Transceivers in close collaboration with Modem/RF Hardware, Modem/Baseband and RF ASIC teams. This is at the core of the Qualcomm’s Communication System solution.

• Create, Develop and Optimize Modem / RF Transceiver and Antenna / RF Front End algorithms and Software modules to improve System performance, Factory yields and RF Testability.

• Provide Modem and RF Driver expertise to investigations of complex RF and Modem issues in a cross-functional Hardware and Software working environment.

• Work closely with the Modem Physical layer teams in delivering new features to keep Qualcomm Modem performance competitive in the evolving marketplace.

• Collaborate closely with RF & Modem Systems, Hardware and Test Engineering during all cycles of product development.

It is expected that the Engineer’s:

• Have a good understanding of the communication system along with RF blocks like Transmitter/Receiver, Amplifiers, etc. and their interfaces with software.

• Are adept at C-programming and can develop real-time embedded software.

• Should have a good understanding of the software engineering concepts.

• Develop Modem/RF new Features and algorithms which are essential for the modem performance.

• Knowledge in 5G/LTE//CDMA/UMTS/GSM wireless systems is a plus.

• Must have good communication skills and be a team player.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
