About Harsco GSC

Harsco GSC handles a wide range of services, finance and accounting shared services, global HR shared services, providing IT Service and helpdesk support and market research support to Harsco globally. We are Operating since 2008 & Serving 30+ Countries.

I. Position Summary and Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide support in the form of data analysis and model development to enable the category manager in their sourcing efforts

• Extracts data from varying ERP systems

• Provides data cleansing, validation, and structuring for sourcing initiatives

• Monitor suppliers and business owners for compliance with organization policies and procedures, and escalate/remediate as necessary

• Assign and maintain in-house developed Taxonomy specific to the business

• Assemble information to support the development of a negotiation strategy

• Gather market and supplier information to support category/supplier strategy development

• Serve as a subject matter expert in sourcing/procurement, and assist in educating business users

• Monitor supplier performance, and help facilitate supplier scorecard/performance management initiatives

• Supports one or more category managers

• Has a limited degree of independent decision-making authority while performing typical job duties

II. Essential Duties and Daily Tasks:

• Develop and Maintain the Power BI dashboards with monthly/weekly Data refresh.

• Support Sourcing & Procurement in data analysis, model building, and supplier/contract management

• Spend analysis, integrating and analyzing data from multiple sources

• Develop, track, and report savings, spending compliance, and variances

• Perform Contract compliance and publish in the form of monthly reports

• Coordinate with Sourcing & Procurement on process improvement initiatives

• Handling Adhoc requests on various analytical reports.

• Ensure consistent application of procurement processes across constituent groups

• Assist sourcing and operational negotiations as needed

• Develop, implement, monitor, and report performance measures that demonstrate value.

• Analyzing and mining business data to identify patterns and correlations among the various data points.

• Design and create spend reports and reporting tools to help the strategic sourcing function in their decision-making

• Commodity knowledge should be excellent must be able to classify data basis items or suppliers

III. Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced level)

• Familiarity with at least one of the following ERP Solutions

• Power BI Dashboard creations

• Familiarity with Database and Query reporting tools to prepare and extract data from the leading ERP solutions

• Complex financial modeling and data analysis experience

• Ability to manage multiple projects and job assignments

• The ability to work on assignments independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting

• Ability to clearly communicate sophisticated financial concepts to a broad spectrum of internal users

A. Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field with 5-7 years of related experience

B. Experience

• [5-7 YEARS] years of relevant field experience in either a Manufacturing or Service based company.

C. Other Requirements

• Any Certification like SPSM( Senior Professional in Supply chain Management) is a plus.

D. Skill Sets

• Good ERP Knowledge

• Functional experience in Data Analytics

• Exposure to Business Warehouse BW, Power BI- Business intelligence tools is a must.
