A Senior Associate HR Operations Generalist, is an essential part of the HR team, supporting various operational aspects of the employee lifecycle. The role involves assisting in tasks related to supporting recruitment in candidate experience, onboarding, benefits administration, HRIS management, and employee record maintenance. The role requires attention to detail, strong organisational abilities, and familiarity with HR processes will contribute to the smooth execution of HR operations

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Proactively supports with HR processes, including supporting recruitment in candidate experience, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding.

  • Proactively supports opportunities for streamlining HR processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness and implement best practices and innovative solutions to optimize workflows and HR operations.

  • Contributes to ensuring HR activities and processes are in full compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and company policies.

  • Receives instructions to use HR data to generate insights, trends, and metrics that inform decision-making and drive improvements.

  • Contributes to organisational change initiatives within HR operations, providing guidance to employees during transitions.

  • Works with other departments to align HR strategies with organisational objectives and ensure seamless operations.

  • Works with HRIS software for data management, reporting, and analysis, ensuring data accuracy and integrity within the HRIS.

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

  • Understands of HR processes, policies, and best practices across various functions, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding.

  • Understands of relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance and guide decision-making.

  • Understands of HRIS software and tools for efficient data management, reporting, and analytics.

  • Understands HR data to generate meaningful insights and present key metrics to inform strategic decisions.

  • Ability to contribute to the development and execution of strategic HR initiatives aligned with organisational goals.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex HR concepts to diverse audiences.

  • Good analytical skills to identify HR challenges, propose solutions, and make informed decisions.

  • Ability to support HR projects from inception to completion, managing resources, timelines, and deliverables.

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, HR leadership, and external partners to achieve common goals.

  • Understanding of HR data, identifying trends, and drawing meaningful insights.

  • Good knowledge of MS Office Suite. Some knowledge of Workday will be desirable

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in the field of Human Resources

Required Experience:

  • More than 6 years of relevant experience in all aspects of HR operations, including candidate experience, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding.

  • Knowledge of HRIS software for complex data management, reporting, and analytics.

  • Moderate level of experience in identifying inefficiencies, streamlining processes, and enhancing HR workflows.

  • Moderate level experience leading and overseeing HR projects, managing resources, timelines, and deliverables.

  • Moderate level ability to introduce innovative solutions and best practices to improve HR operations.
