Microsoft Corporation Senior Product Manager – M365 Security in Hyderabad, India

We are looking for candidates to work on solutions that protect Microsoft services against cyberattacks. We are a team that values diversity of multiple fronts and believes in deep collaboration bringing the best side of technology. We also delight in digging in deep to analyse the billions of events and terabytes of data generated each day by all Microsoft products and services (e.g., Azure, M365 suite) for evidence of suspicious activities. In addition, we also build and provide capabilities to protect our services and secure the boundary of all products. Responsibilities

  • Refine and drive the vision, roadmap, and metrics for product.

  • Provide subject matter expertise and create awareness of best practices.

  • Ability to write functional specifications on multiple projects/features as needed.

  • This role requires working with global Microsoft teams remotely.

  • Collaborate with team members in various roles to plan and execute on key deliverables.

  • Work in a culture of continuous improvement, adaptation, reflection, and growth

  • Learn quickly from your peers, projects, and interactions with customers.

  • Provide on call support and monitor the health of services in production as part of DevOps culture.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years’ experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years’ experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

  • Outstanding communication skills and collaboration capabilities.

  • Independent and self-motivated.

  • Cross team and cross org collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Great curiosity and willingness to question and learn.

  • High enthusiasm, integrity, ingenuity, result-orientation, self-motivation, and resourcefulness in a fast-paced competitive environment.

  • Have a deep desire to work collaboratively, solve problems with groups, find win/win solutions and celebrate successes.

  • Preferred previous experience in security domain.

  • Demonstrated communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive results across multiple teams and levels.

Background Check

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or Government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings.

Microsoft Cloud background check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon higher/transfer and every 2 years they are after.
