We are looking for a Technical Program Manager II who will help maximize value for Azure Storage customers. You will do so by driving large-scale initiatives involving multiple teams in the areas of security and compliance. You will have deep understanding of the complexities of systems and orchestrate across large teams of engineers to deliver results. The ideal candidate is passionate about security and compliance areas and is willing to learn about the related latest developments.

Responsibilities

• Drive complex programs/projects in security and compliance, working with diverse stakeholders.

• Develop project/feature roadmap, plan and timeline, and drive execution across all stages of product lifecycle, and ensure visibility on progress for all stakeholders, highlighting accomplishments, issues, risk and blockers.

• Engage with customers and partners to understand customer scenarios, gather requirements, review specs, share preview builds, and get feedback.

• Define product feature functional requirements and customer experience, and iterate on design with Engineering.

• Build consensus across all internal/external partners to achieve defined goals and vision for projects/product features.

• Monitor feature usage and customer adoption.

• Identify short-and long-term investment opportunities, evaluating trade-offs, and driving the product roadmap.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.

• 1+ year(s) of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

• 2+ years of experience in

• hyperscale cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Google),

• AND security;

• AND customer-centric and data-driven insights creation, strategy definition, and experimentation;

• AND design, delivery, and iteration on complex projects with a diverse set of stakeholders;

• AND developing product roadmaps to deliver customer and business value across products and services.

Other Qualifications:

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: 

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.

• 1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).

• 4+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

• Proficiency in Cloud technologies and services delivered by hyperscale cloud providers ((Azure, AWS, Google).

• Experience in Storage Technologies, Security, and Compliance.
