Job Description:
An Equipment Loader at Brinkley Auctions, Inc. plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation
of our renowned auctions. With over 50 years of success, we are Oklahomas largest tractor, farm, ranch,
and agricultural auction. Your primary responsibility is to safely load, and unload equipment bought and
consigned at our auctions. Safety, care, and efficiency are paramount in this role.
This is a safety sensitive position, subject to pre-employment and random drug and alcohol
screening. You will work outdoors, often exposed to varying weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Safe Loading and Unloading:
Handle incoming and outgoing shipments with utmost care.
Load and unload equipment onto/from shipping trucks, containers, or other transport vehicles.
Prioritize safety protocols during all loading and unloading activities.
2. Efficiency and Attention to Detail:
Work efficiently to meet auction schedules.
Verify shipment contents against shipping documents and orders.
Inspect equipment for any damage or defects.
3. Professionalism and Etiquette:
Represent Brinkley Auctions: Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Effective Communication: Clearly and courteously convey information to consigners, bidders,
and colleagues.
Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable in a dynamic auction environment.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills:
Physical stamina for lifting and moving heavy equipment.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Familiarity with equipment handling (forklifts, hand trucks).
Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols.
Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
Customer-Centric Mindset: Excellent communication skills and a commitment to meeting consigners
needs. Understand that each consigners equipment holds personal value.
