Pickleball Cashier/Attendants
The City of Idaho Falls is accepting applications for positions for Pickleball Cashier/Attendants. These positions perform a
variety of unskilled and semi-skilled duties related to the daily operations, maintenance, and/or repair of the Joe
Marmo/Wayne Lehto Ice Arena in Idaho Falls located in Tautphaus Park.
This is a part time position working 10 - 19 hours per week.
Essential Functions
May perform all or some of the following: cashier tasks such as collecting payments, handling cash, closing out cash drawer
and accounting for deposit, answering phone calls, using customer service skills to assist and direct onsite patron and user
groups for programs, services and special events, check out rental equipment, clean and perform other janitorial duties to
include restrooms, lobby, hallways, courts, benches, mirrors, and trash, complete shifts reports and/logs for manager review,
and maintain property, check in patrons, verify court reservations, facilitate payment transactions, clean and prep pickleball
facility. You must be able to operate electronic tables, devices, computers, etc. .
These task include but are not limited to performing daily custodial duties such as cleaning ;
Performs related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Education and Experience:
A. Sufficient education and training to demonstrate an ability or aptitude to perform above duties; OR C. An equivalent
combination of education and experience.
2. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to work in all weather extremes; ability to follow verbal and written instructions; ability to communicate effectively,
verbally and in writing; ability to develop effective working relationships with fellow employees and the public; excellent
customer service skills a must. Ability to count and handle money and make change as well as process credit card
payments. Ability to lift handle skates.
3. Special Qualifications:
May require employees to work nights, weekends, holidays, and/or be on-call.
Final candidates will be subject to a background check prior to employment.
Work Environment
Tasks require variety of physical activities, generally involving muscular strain, such as walking, standing, stooping, sitting,
reaching, lifting, etc.(moving up to 50 pounds and occasionally moving up to 80 pounds). Talking, hearing and seeing
essential to the performance of the job. Daily exposure to weather extremes and seasonal conditions. Common eye, hand,
finger dexterity exist. Mental application utilizes memory for details, verbal instructions, discriminating thinking. Frequent
local travel required in normal course of job performance.
