Kathy Whitburn State Farm Insurance Agency of Ironwood is seeking interested candidates for a Paid Summer Intern Position as a Sales/Service Account Representative.
The ideal candidate will progress into a full-time role at the agency as a Team Member Sales/Service Account Representative.
Base Wage: $12.50/hr without License (will increase once licensed).
Monthly Base Wage Expectations:
- Provide Remarkable Customer Service and Needs Based Solutions to our customers
- Attend monthly Team Huddle Meetings
- Assist with Customer Service Duties as needed upon walk-in, phone calls, email, text, etc.
- Conduct Outbound Calls and Set Sales Appointments to assist in sales of Raw New Auto and Fire Policies + Pivot opportunities for Life/Health Opportunities to Agent
- Assist with Marketing Efforts to grow office initiatives for success in and out of the office including community booths at events during evening and/or weekend timelines as planned in advance.
- General Office Tasks and Housekeeping as assigned to enhance agency growth and safety.
Commission/Bonus Structure: (Paid Monthly on the 5^th^ for the previous month's sales)
- Licensing Education and licensing exam/application fees will be reimbursed after a successful state license is issued and completion of a full internship or earlier at the agent's discretion.
- Additional Time off or Bonus Incentives are paid based on Team Goal Attainment. Each program will be communicated in writing and verbally when established.
- Assist in attaining the various objectives noted below as assigned within the team to attain agency sales.
- Follow up on ILP Leads assigned:
- $1 per referral lead received + $1 if appointment set + $1 for quote + $5 if Closed Sale
- $20 for every 10 social media testimonials or 5 Star Review on our Facebook page or Google Review on our website
- $3 per valid appointment set from leads to viable pivot Life & Health opportunities
- Additional bonuses based on attainment of Life and Health 2020 Promo TBD
- Paid holidays during intern employment
- Sick Days are to be called into the office as soon as possible.
- Perfect attendance for 30 days earns a $100 bonus, continued for the next 30 days earns an additional $150, and throughout the balance of the internship commitment earns an additional $250 bonus.
Dress Code:
- Business Professional and business prepared at the start of work hours. (Dress Pants/khakis, dress shirt, polo, or State Farm gear)
- Business Casual Friday with State Farm Apparel (No jeans with holes)
- State Farm Apparel is required at all company sponsored events -- shirts will be provided.
Office hours:
- Monday-Friday Employee Office Hours: 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
- Customer Office hours are 9:00 am -- 5:00 pm (Extended after hours by appointment)
- Office Hours are subject to change
