Description

We are offering an employment opportunity for a Sr. Demand Planner in the industry located in Irvine, CA., United States. The role will involve working in an office environment from Tuesday to Thursday. As a Sr. Demand Planner, you will be expected to utilize your basic office skills to manage and plan for future demand.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and adjust demand plans using systematic and statistical tools

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and manage demand

• Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns

• Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities

• Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy

• Conduct regular review meetings with business teams

• Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies

• Handle overstock and order cancellations in a timely and effective manner

• Conduct weekly and monthly forecast maintenance

• Identify and report on inventory levels and financial impacts.

Requirements

• Possession of basic office skills such as knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, data entry, file management, and email communication.

• Minimum of five years of experience in demand planning or a similar role in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong understanding of demand planning processes.

• Proficient in demand planning software.

• Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.

• Proactive problem solver with the ability to make decisions under pressure.

• Knowledge of industry trends and market conditions.
