The Work:

You gather and apply data-driven insights from the IT and consulting markets to help Accenture offer the best deals to its customers. You will help develop guidance on pricing and competitive positioning to assist sales teams on large, complex deals, by:

  • Using market data to analyze sales proposals and develop targeted commercial strategies

  • Collaborating with teams across Pricing Optimization to compile relevant information to support sales proposals

  • Helping sales teams to understand client requirements and selection criteria

  • Working with client-facing teams to analyze proposed solutions, develop business cases, and prepare proposals and presentations

  • Advise deal teams on optimal pricing structures and contracts, given deal- and client-specific contexts

  • Educating sales teams on market context to give them confidence in our pricing approach

  • Developing knowledge of the IT and Consulting markets, their key players, and Accenture’s pricing position and strategy in them

  • Guide client-facing teams through internal pricing and approval processes

  • Using models and data analytics tools to inform financial structures, price positioning, deal shaping and qualification

  • Identifying and applying ways to improve sales practices and processes

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in deal shaping, pricing and commercial strategy development, and profitability optimization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of sales and operations processes

  • Competitive analysis and market intelligence

  • Experience in IT and Consulting industry

  • Understanding of Finance processes

  • Contracting and negotiation skills

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

  • Undergraduate degree

  • English language fluency (oral and written)

  • Must support/mirror working hours of the supported market unit or other business area

  • Must be flexible with work hours according to shifting business needs

  • A home office or work area that is suitable for productive remote work, per local guidelines. This includes a safe, ergonomic workspace and a high-speed internet connection that is stable and secure.

  • May be required to travel on rare occasions

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York or Washington as set forth below.
