Robert Half Loan Processor - Support in Iselin, New Jersey

Description

We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Loan Processor for our dynamic team. The successful candidate should possess a robust understanding of the complete loan process cycle, insurance claims and be well-versed with escrow processes. This role is essential in ensuring our customer's loan applications are processed accurately and smoothly, resulting in successful loan completion and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review loan applications to ensure completeness and accuracy of the information provided and confirm it complies with the bank's policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Communicate effectively with loan officers, underwriters, and applicants to facilitate seamless loan processing. Assist in resolving issues between the various parties involved.

  • Verify and analyze loan documentation including income, credit, appraisal, and title, while ensuring the information matches the loan program requested.

  • Coordinate with clients to obtain necessary documents and liaise between parties like loan officers, underwriters, real estate agents, and clients, to expedite the loan approval process.

  • Understand and apply bank's credit policies and guidelines, and interpret and analyze client's financial details accurately.

  • Manage and update an accurate record of loan application progress.

  • Handle escalated calls, resolving customer inquiries and complaints, and providing customers with detailed information on loan processes.

  • Knowledge of insurance claims, flood, and homeowners insurance, as well as escrow processes.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Loan Processor or a similar role

  • In-depth knowledge of loan processing, insurance claims procedures, homeowners insurance and flood insurance policies, and escrow processes.

  • Must possess strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented, and team-oriented environment.

  • Proficiency in computer systems and software like banking databases, MS Excel, etc.

  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally.
