The Fresh Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the tactical operations of fresh fish production, including supervision of machine operations (slicer, packaging, and boxing) and supervision of related personnel. This role coordinates with the Production Management and Fresh Program Management teams regularly to ensure transparency and efficient, effective production of the program. This is a long term assignment with no end date at Beaver Street Fisheries. It offers a great work schedule of Monday through Thursday with only occasional overtime on Friday so you'll have a long weekend most of the time! If you're an experienced production supervisor who loves to lead a team of people towards daily production goals then this may be the job for you! We're scheduling interviews immediately so now!

salary: $20 - $21 per hour

Responsibilities

Adapt to highly variable workload based on seasonality

Willing and able to adapt to variable overtime requirements including Friday work

Maintain responsibility, accountability, active listening, effective communication, and

professionalism in a fast-paced work environment

Conduct appropriately succinct and professional communication to production floor

workers, fellow supervisors, and production management personnel

Influence and motivate Fresh Production Associates to change their behavior as needed

and follow best practices as agreed upon by management

Set examples and ensure compliance with proper attire, PPE, GMPs, and SSOPs as

appropriate in production areas

Understand, execute, delegate, and supervise all HACCP and CCP-related forms, best

practices, and safety protocols consistently

Learn the intricacies and challenges unique to fresh fish production, including ideal

orders of operations and management prioritization

Identify and clearly communicate any safety-related issues to management, maintenance,

and/or QC personnel immediately

Consistent attendance, with little to no incidents of tardiness or leaving early without

sufficient prior approvalGrasp a deep understanding of the intricacies of each SKU's production and ensure

compliance to specifications

Ability to accurately record, remember, and execute complex instructions based on

scheduling of four different production lines and two slicer machines simultaneously

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 10 hours at one time

• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
