Description

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Technical Writer located in Jacksonville, Florida. This role centers around drafting technical and non-technical documentation for internal teams in a structured and cohesive manner. The ideal candidate should be able to work effectively with stakeholders and create various deliverables such as user guides, process flows, job aids, and reference materials.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with stakeholders to understand and gather technical information for documentation.

• Draft and organize both technical and non-technical documentation in a clear and structured manner.

• Develop user/admin guides, job aids, process flows, and reference materials for use by internal teams.

• Work closely with internal teams to ensure the accuracy and relevance of all technical documentation.

• Handle materials efficiently and maintain a cohesive approach throughout the documentation process.

• Manage and monitor the process flow charts and job aids.

• Maintain clear and open communication with stakeholders to ensure deliverables meet expectations.

• Exhibit strong skills in materials handling and maintaining cohesive relationships with internal teams.

• Continually update and improve documentation based on feedback and changes in processes or technologies.

• Ensure all documentation is easily accessible and understandable to all relevant parties.

Requirements • Proven experience in the role of a Technical Writer or similar capacity in a technical field

• Demonstrable skills in creating clear and concise technical documentation

• Strong ability to create process flow charts and job aids

• Proficient in handling materials related to technical writing

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with internal teams and stakeholders effectively

• Ability to produce cohesive and comprehensive deliverables on time

• Familiarity with various tools used in technical writing

• Ability to understand and translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand texts

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in work

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
