Job Title: CAD Technician

Job Description

Provide office survey support to office staff and Professional Land Surveyors. Produce Lot Certificates, Grading As-builts, Foundation As-builts and calculate earthwork volumes in support of other Housing Services Staff. Respond to requests for data and exhibits by internal and external stakeholders. Maintain records to track project status and may assist with scheduling of crews. May provide or generate points for layout data in support of field crews. Work closely with Survey Director and Associate Surveyor. Perform research, design and calculations for surveying and mapping projects using Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center. Perform other duties as assigned.

Hard Skills

• 2+ years technical school in survey technology along with computer-aided drafting or equivalent training and experience

• Experience with AutoCAD & Civil 3D

• Proficiency with Basic Computer Skills (Microsoft Office)

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Jacksonville, Florida.
