Manulife Indonesia Agency Risk is responsible for making sure the risk and governance process within the Agency team is well established and maintained consistently. This role also requires identifying potential dummy risks and drive the overall business quality for Agency, especially GA growth, covering an end-to-end financing effectiveness (APE-FYP performances vs. financing cost incl. financing claw back), recruitment growth (inorganic vs. organic), resolving lapse and persistency issues, early claims management, and quality of welcome call.

The candidate shall work closely with Agency Risk & Control Reporting on rolling out maturity assessment results and ensuring the gaps can be closed within the limited timeframe. Additionally, this position also requires having strong audit background to face the upcoming audits and to review the existing process so that audit findings can be avoided or at least limited to low rating.

We are looking for someone with:

University degree from reputable university.

Minimum 6 years working experiences in consulting, financial or life insurances industry and having Agency experiences would be an advantage.

Able to demonstrate good leadership and managerial skill.

Able to engage and build strong relationship with internal and external stakeholders including the Agency field forces.

Preferable with experiences in risk management and managing quality of business performances including financing structure and data analysis in Agency channel.

On the job you will:

1. To perform overall risk identification, risk assessment, control assessment, control assurance, incident monitoring and any other ad-hoc projects assigned by Head of Agency Risk & Control or GM Agency.

2. To lead the control review for each Agency process, incl. deep dive analysis on any loophole or control weakness that may arise within those processes, especially the process of GA onboarding and portfolio review, and to provide recommendations to close the gaps.

3. To highlights and escalate any potential issue or incident to Head of Agency Risk & Control (Agency Management) and to ensure to log them into the CAP system (Archer) including perform monitoring on the due date and ensuring those CAPs are closed accordingly.

4. To perform oversight on monthly QC Line 1B Testing by liaising with the respective Function on failed testing and ensuring there’s remediation action in place to close the gaps.

5. To review standard end-to-end Agency process and business quality performance and present those findings through monthly ID Business Review.

6. To liaise closely with Agency Risk & Control Reporting on the agreed items follow-up outlined on Maturity Assessment Action Plans by liaising with the relevant teams and ensuring what is expected has been achieved and delivered accordingly.
