Position Summary
Shree Mahavir Metalcraft Pvt. Ltd, is looking for an Assistant Manager Purchase for manufacturing plant at Jamnagar. This person shall be based out of Jamnagar. He/ She will be responsible to procurement, job work, Negotiation and manage strategic relationships with Supplier and Job worker.
Roles and Responsibilities
To Implement purchasing strategies, policies, and procedures.
Continuous working on price reduction.
Ensure timely procurement of material.
Ensure the controls over the purchasing budgets.
New vendor development & to do vendor consolidation as Assa Abloy SOP.
Relationship management with the existing vendors
To coordinate with store and ensure that inventory targets are met.
Accurate & timely reporting to the management
Supervising & motivating the team members
Reviewing the performance of sub-ordinates & provide them the required guidance.
Skills Required
SAP & Advance Excel knowledge must.
Good Communication skills in English& Hindi, Gujrati Must
Basic knowledge of metal prices and market trend
Basic knowledge on manufacturing processes
Education Qualification & Experience required.
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 8 years of experience in manufacturing set up.
