Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a highly experienced Lead Engineer MEP (BMS/SCADA) to join our dynamic team for an exciting oceanarium project. The Lead Engineer MEP will play a pivotal role in the design, installation, and commissioning of the Building Management System (BMS) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems. The Lead Engineer MEP (BMS/SCADA) will collaborate closely with architects, designers, and other engineering disciplines to ensure the seamless integration of MEP systems within the oceanarium's infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and expertise in the design and implementation of MEP systems, with a focus on BMS and SCADA technologies.

• Lead the development of comprehensive MEP designs, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate MEP systems with other building components, such as life support systems, HVAC, and lighting controls.

• Oversee the procurement process for assigned MEP equipment and materials, including vendor selection, negotiation, and quality assurance.

• Manage the assigned MEP scope of work, including scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and progress tracking.

• Coordinate the commissioning and testing of assigned MEP systems, ensuring functionality, efficiency, and performance optimization.

• Prepare detailed technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, manuals, and as-built records.

• Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of workmanship and system reliability.

• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard project timelines, budget, and deliverables.

• Provide training and technical support to project stakeholders, including operators, maintenance staff, and client representatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant degree.

• Minimum of 18 years of experience in MEP engineering, with a focus on building management systems and SCADA integration and a minimum of 10yrs experience projects, preferably in GCC (KSA experience ideally)

• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects, preferably in the aquatic or entertainment industry.

• In-depth knowledge of MEP design principles, codes, and standards and expertise in various BMS and SCADA platforms

• Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
