We are looking for a line O perator for Operating the Depalletiser and ensure empty can feeding to the filler, with basic knowledge in chemistry/ food science, or technical (engineering) background, with experience in line operations in a food industry facility, to join Nestle in a Green Field Factory in Saudi.
In this role, you will act as key player to ensure production plan execution , on time within the required food safety and quality. This operation must be carried out in line with Nutrition Standards and in full collaboration with the production team

Execute the production plan, delivered on time and within the required quality and cost.
Collaborate/contribute to ensure the required levels of skills & competency.
Secure employee safety, product quality and line efficiency during the shift with strict adherence to Standards, cost and environment needs.
A DAY IN THE LIFE …
Functional Responsibilities
Safety (SHE): Ensure that assigned working areas are kept clean and maintained in working order including all installations. Ensure that the risk assessments are up to date, risk predictions are done when it is required and updating of safety map on regular bases, environmental hazards identification & fixing are done on frequent bases.
Quality: Responsible to run all operations (Feeding the Depalletiser and conveying empty Cans to the filler) as per NGMP, NQMS and maintain FTR as per target. Ensuring the cleaning & hygiene of the working areas as per GMP and HACCP. In charge of continuous line controls and immediate corrective actions to ensure prescribed quality, compliance with manufacturing instructions on the assigned line.
Continuous Improvement (NCE): Ensuring the high level of NCE by leading effective SHO, communication with operators and production assistants to fulfil and exceed the requirements of the job through NCE approaches as well as NCE advanced practices TPM/LEAN in the line.
Line performance (AI): Ensure vertical set up & start up of equipment, control of operational parameters and maintaining of documentation for traceability. Responsible to eliminate unplanned stoppages and optimize planned stoppages & rework to achieve AI target.
Cost: Responsible for daily physical closing & cross checking of materials as per SAP reports, secure accuracy of data entry and FIFO/FEFO is followed, and responsible for accurate capturing of material consumption on SAP. Drive the asset intensity of assigned line with good control for material & labor variance with accurate data. Ensure that consumption of raw & packaging materials as per standard loss & achieve target "Zero" waste.
Productivity: Contribute/Enforce the adequate distribution of responsibilities of operators & assistants to enable production plan of the line to be achieved effectively with minimum possible unplanned stoppages and idle hours. Coach the team to reach their full potential and to achieve objectives in accordance with NCE guidelines.
Initiative Mindset: Protect the core and operate as per Best Practices and state of the art operations, use the Nutrition tools to correct deviations and improve operations. Reinforce and promote positive safety and quality culture, aim for first time right. Work with Zero waste mindset, optimizing the cost through performance improvement activities
What will make you successful…
Academic Experience: High School degree and preferably Diploma in technical discipline e.g. engineering or food science
Operational Experience: Having min 2-3 years’ experience in production environment
Exposure to implementing continuous improvement and employee involvement techniques. Preferable experience in implementation of TPM.
Experience of operating the lines, manufacturing operations.
