Summary:

We are looking for an effective and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the day to day operations at our facility. Primary responsibilities will include planning delivery routes for our drivers, overseeing receiving, shipping, and maintaining an organized warehouse. You will work alongside the profit center and operations managers to plan and implement continuous improvement projects. You may be required to take deliveries on days that we have a high volume of outgoing orders or on days that other employees are scheduled off.

Reports to: Profit Center Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED

• minimum 2 years management experience

• minimum 1 year work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or manager

• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives

• Strong decision making and problem solving skills

• Excellent communication and organization skills

Working Conditions:

Warehouse environment (concrete floors) and outdoor conditions (on asphalt, gravel, or grass) including sometimes extreme hot/cold temperatures. Some job functions may require extended periods of sitting or standing. Driving will be required both local and highway utilizing company vehicles.

Essential Job Functions:

• Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision

• Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations

• Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures

• Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security

• Manage stock control and aid reconciliation

• Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies

• Plan work quotas, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results

• Train, coach and motivate employees

• Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided

Compensation Range:

The compensation range for this position is $50000 to $80000 annually.
