Bank of America, N.A. Assistant Vice President; Quantitative Finance Analyst in Jersey City, New Jersey

DUTIES:Conduct quantitative analytics and modelling projects. Apply quantitative methodologies to resolve concrete financial problems and develop capabilities that meet line of business, risk management and regulatory requirements. Execute complex, multifaceted processes ensuring effective controls are applied, with accurate documentation of process steps, inputs and outputs, identifying gaps and improving workflow. Investigate and explain model forecasts as part of scenario generation production processes. Communicate quantitative approaches and results as part of ongoing engagement with key stakeholders, including the lines of business, risk managers, model validation, audit and technology teams. Analyze and evaluate large and complex economic and financial datasets with analytical tools such as Python, SQL and R. Create data mining, data processing and data analytical and visualization tools using Python to gain business insight from the data. Employ advanced data science programming such as R, Python and machine learning packages such as Pandas, Scikit Learn to wrangle model data into structured format, aiding and supporting broader analysis and reporting. Incorporate advanced quantitative techniques and tools, such as, statistical analysis, predictive modeling, timeseries and structural regressions to develop forecasting models. Utilize Python to write quantitative model development, testing code, and technical documentation. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.REQUIREMENTS:Master's degree or equivalent in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Information Engineering, or related; and 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related quantitative occupation.
