JPMorgan Chase Trade & Working Capital - Strategic Initiatives Relationship Manager- Associate in Jersey City, New Jersey

As a Strategic Initiatives Relationship Manager in Trade & Working Capital (T&WC), specifically in the Structured Trade Product team, you will be able to demonstrate a track record of success in cross-functional settings, possess a curiosity to learn and the ability to quickly apply those learnings to solve complex, high-impact problems. In this role, you will support senior management in the day to day execution of strategies and goals for sales, productivity and efficiency.

Trade & Working Capital (T&WC) is a division of JPMorgan Payments. Structured Trade Products sits within the T&WC organization and is responsible for Export Agency Finance (EAF) and Structured Working Capital Finance (SWC). EAF leverages the firm's extensive relationships with export credit agencies, multilateral agencies and development financial institutions to help clients access the long-term financing solutions that meet their capital-intensive needs - and empower their business and investments to thrive. SWC provides a range of receivables and inventory financing solutions to clients which unlock cash in the cash conversion cycle and enable redeployment in higher returning capital investments.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assess, solution, and execute against opportunities for end-to-end process optimization

  • Lead cross-functional, end-to-end initiatives focused on improving client experiences along the client journey

  • Define business tradeoffs and value; generate out-of-the-box solutions and cut through ambiguity to drive results

  • Analyze datasets leveraging qualitative and quantitative insights to make recommendations to the Senior leadership team

  • Develop and deploy management reporting and other key performance indicators necessary to monitor business performance

  • Develop and present annual and long term strategic business plans for the business units; perform ad-hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives and diagnose performance

  • Coordinate deliverables with transaction execution, product management and other stakeholders to meet business requirements and to drive strategic deliverables

  • Identify, escalate and resolve issues or risks that could affect business unit results or outcomes

  • Project manage strategic actions / priorities from design through implementation and closure

  • Conduct regular meetings across the business unit to inform team of new targets and goals as well as changes and updates to strategic priorities

  • Develop and present presentations and executive material to analyze and articulate business unit performance, competitive positioning, and market opportunities

Required Qualifications, Skills & Capabilities:

  • At least 4 years of relevant financial services experience

  • Experience in managing projects and/ or budgets as well as a proven track record of delivering results and achieving goals

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to interact, influence, and collaborate effectively with all levels of a highly complex organization

  • Comfortable driving change in dynamic, complex environments

  • Strong executive storytelling and presentation skills in written form and verbally

  • Adept at financial analysis and business planning

  • Strong MS Office suite skills (i.e., Word, Excel, Access, Visio, PowerPoint, MS Project)

  • Ability to manage multiple and conflicting priorities
