Citigroup Wealth Operations Strategic Execution Lead (C15/Director) in Jersey City, New Jersey

The Head of Wealth Operations Strategic Execution Lead is a key leadership role within the organization, responsible for driving the strategic direction and operational excellence for Wealth Operations. This role will oversee the development and execution of programs and initiatives that align with the strategic goals of Wealth Operations, ensuring end-to-end solutions and cross-functional collaboration. The successful candidate will work closely with Change Execution, Enterprise Operations, and Enterprise Excellence to leverage enterprise tools, capabilities, and best practices. Additionally, the role involves developing a strategic view for the next 3 to 5 years, quickly resolving issues, and working with vendors to identify optimal solutions.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain a 3 to 5 year strategic vision for Wealth Operations, aligning operational initiatives with overall business objectives.

  • Lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of key programs and initiatives that drive strategic goals.

  • Work with Change Execution teams to ensure effective execution and delivery of projects and programs.

  • Collaborate with Enterprise Operations and Enterprise Excellence teams to leverage enterprise-wide tools, capabilities, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Provide leadership and direction for the development and execution of end-to-end solutions across Wealth Operations.

  • Act as a key decision-maker in addressing and resolving operational challenges and issues as they arise.

  • Quickly jump in to find solutions for complex operational problems, ensuring minimal impact on business operations and customer experience.

  • Partner with vendors to identify optimal solutions that support Wealth Operations' strategic goals.

  • Negotiate and manage vendor contracts and relationships to maximize value and minimize risks.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including senior management, to ensure alignment on strategic priorities and operational initiatives.

  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to gather input and drive consensus on key decisions.

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

  • Support professional development and growth opportunities for team members to build a strong, high-performing team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations, strategic planning, or related roles, preferably in wealth management or financial services.

  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects and programs.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.

  • Experience with vendor management and contract negotiation.

  • Proficiency in leveraging enterprise-wide tools and capabilities to drive operational excellence.

  • Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities, with a focus on long-term vision and goals.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$170,000.00 - $300,000.00
