Primary Function/Primary Goals/Objectives:

Establish and maintain the Cleaning and Sanitization program for manufacturing Area.

Responsible for planning,execution, monitoring and overall supervision of Cleaning and Sanitation related initiatives ensuring Abbott Standards.

Primary purpose of role is to focus on highest sandard of GMP, Hygiene complaince as per Abbott requirements. Drive and implement continuous improvements to enhance Manufacturing cleaning and santitation practices in a improved and cost-effective manner.

Major Responsibilities:

• To ensure highest standards of GMP & hygiene compliance in Manufacturing .

• Improve the hygiene awareness of all staff and House keeping team to ensure that high standards of hygiene are maintained in the plant.

• Promote and foster good human relations within the department & plant-wide and work to

ensure that employees embrace the Abbott Values.

• Establish and manage the site Sanitation program. Review data and develop risk-based approach program to protect the products.

• Establishes and influences operating policies related to Cleaning and Sanitization, ensure compliance with Abbott requirements and local regulations in force for industrial hygiene.

• Provide training to production operators and housekeeping contractors on relevant hygiene requirements, Supervise and inspect the hygiene in the production process according to hygiene requirements

• Drive and implement continuous improvements to enhance Manufacturing cleaning and santization practices in a improved and cost-effective manner.

• Non-routine detects investigation, corrective & prevetive actions

• Global CAPA action execution of actions related to cleaning and Sanitization.

• Proactive execution of preventive actions to avoid POP events in line with revised safeguard

policy related to Cleaning and Sanitization.

• Ensure Documnetation in line with Abbott Policy requirements for cleaning and Sanitization.

• Ensuring Cleaning Chemicals availability and Fulfilling the validation requirements for the same.

• Ensuring standardization of Cleaning and Sanitization practices across site.

Monitoring and ensuring Chemical dispenser and other cleaning equipment Operation.

• Ensuring availability and quality of Cleaning tools as per Abbott requirements.

• Leading the house keeping contractors and staff for effective cleaning and sanitization in Manufacturing.

• Timely reporting of Safety, Quality, Food Safety & People related incidents.

• Ensure 5S & safe working across area of operations, cleaning & sanitizing chemicals storage &

handling.

• To analyze Root Cause and executing corrective/preventive actions for all failures related to cleaning and sanitization practices ,eqipment and tools.

• To ensure 100% adherence to SOPs for cleaning and sanitization in manufacturing area.

Education:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in DairyTechnology/Food science/ Microbiology with minimum 2-5 yrs experience or Diploma with relevant equivalent experience

• Sound people management skills.

• Knowledge quality & Food safety system.

• Being proficient in Gujarati is an added advantage.

• Interpersonal skills in order to have healthy relationship with colleagues working in different

functions at site.

• Communication skills in order to understand and provide necessary feedback or solutions to the

Site team and internal customers.

• Strategic thinking in order to go in depth understanding of Site Operations and related complex

issues and provide the best feasible solutions at all levels. Should possess sound analytical skills.

• Decision making skills in order to handle the different problems at Site.
