Our Johnson City Location is looking for someone to join our team as a Quality Control Inspector. This position is scheduled to work Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.

Scope

Responsible for verifying the quality aspects of both manufactured and distributed dental products.

Responsibilities for Employment

  • Inspects incoming and manufactured products for defined quality attributes.

  • Navigates computer software for inspection work instruction and documentation.

  • Performs required testing on critical products as needed.

  • Ensures production documents are scanned and filed appropriately for traceability.

  • Performs basic cleaning duties within the department.

  • Depending on the needs of the company, the employee may be entrusted with and asked to perform other tasks related to his/her competence.

Education

High School Diploma or GED a plus or equivalency of educaton and work experience

Years and Type of Experience

  • No previous experience required.

  • Preferred experience in a quality assurance role.

Key Skills, Knowledge & Capabilities:

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively through both written and verbal communication.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to learn other applicable programs as necessary.

  • Must be detailed oriented.

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common process or procedural type documents.

  • Ability to write business correspondence.

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and peers.

  • Basic math skills, including adding, subtracting and division.

  • Ability to define problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions.

  • Ability to work overtime on an as needed basis.

  • Ability to use scales, micrometers, calipers, microscopes, video measuring equipment, and optical comparators is a plus.
